Office Worker whole day self-check

Interview Mike

 Today the object that iris interviews  is a later 1980s  handsome trainer from Powerhouse-Mikein fact, he is a very sunny and cheerful big boy, he is talkative and energetic. Mike is not only an excellent group lesson coach, but also a careful personal trainer.

Iris: What is the difference between personal training and group class coach in teaching students?

Iris: Many people want to increase muscle, and that what they should do to achieve the most effective?

For example the well known basketball player Yao Ming, he was really thin when he came to NBA in 2002, through the increase muscle training by professional coaches, and later we were gradually seeing the today’s strong Yao Ming.

Interview- Zhou Tong


Zhou Tong, she is a trainer in Orient Fitness Club, and also she is a mum of a 14-month year old baby. The first time sees her, I am surprised by her body, and I even can't believe she has a baby. It is necessary due to the identity of her Pilate’s instructor. Today, I have the chance to interview her, and she shares the experiences of Pilates. Because she is a Chinese woman, the language we used is Chinese; following is my collation and translation of our transcript.

Iris: when did you come into contact with Pilates? And why did you choose to practice Pilates?

ZT: I came into contact with Pilates since 2004. Pilates stressed muscles and functional training, its practice focused on the muscles, to strengthen the core strength to improve muscle control.  In fact, I was used to be an aerobics and yoga instructor, however because of my explosive power and strength is relatively weak, in order to enhance physical strength, I chose to practice Pilates.

Iris: You are both Pilates Instructor and Yoga instructor. From your own experience and the course teaches, are there any differences between them?

ZT: From physical consumption level, Pilates will be tired. However, they relate each other closely. Before practicing Yoga, first you should practice Pilates well, and then you can better raise the body control. Pilates pay more attention to the core strength and muscle strength, it is a requirement is strictly, and very reasonable, safe movement.

Iris: In ordinary teaching, what kind of mistake students will make? What do they need to pay attention to?

ZT: Most of the student body control is relatively poor; they cannot through the breath to mobilize the body muscle, less than the Pilates training effect. A lot of people put the Pilates excel at the Abs waist shaping, loss of the safety and rationality of Pilates.

Iris: You practice and teach Pilates so long time, do you have any good experiences to share with others?

ZT: Now there are a variety of sports, everyone should choose the most suitable among these movements, many people are in an unhealthy statue, Pilates can improve the body's core strength, help to improve the health status.

Dr.zheng

Today Iris interviewed the Chinese medical doctor- Dr. Xian Hua Zheng. In Preston, he has a Chinese medicine & acupuncture called Dr & HERBS, and Dr. Zheng has practiced of medicine for more than 7 years. And today he also gave us some suggestions about health.


Iris: which groups of people should care about their health?

Dr.Z: in my opinion, everyone should care about the health, however, different people focus on different points. The sick person needs medical treatment, sub-health people need to be adjusted, and health people need to keep.

 Iris: what kinds of mistakes people are easy to take on their way to follow the health?

Dr.Z: This is quite a big topic, it is mainly in diet and the time people have a rest. For an ordinary adult, the rest time that they need is 8 hours a day, but now, many people either less than 8 hours or more than 8 hours, many people thought that sleeping is good for people’s health even the more the better, in fact, it was wrong, sleep too much is bad for people’s health. As we all know, sleeping too little will fall ill, many people do not knowsleep too much equally bad, if you sleep too much, not only can not eliminate fatigue, will also affect the health and intelligence. For people over the age of 50, sleep too long will lead to increased blood viscosity, blood viscosity increase induced stroke and other disease; sleep too long may induce diabetes.  Another big mistake is vegetarian, A vegetarian diet is a way for modern health care, and is quite popular, but the disadvantages of a vegetarian we can not ignore. Iris: which groups of people should not be long vegetarian?

This is a misunderstanding, if the tonic abuse disorder service also can lead to toxic side effects. There have been cases reported of such a person, had the body is healthy and free from disease, a result of taking a ginseng, resulting in stomach pain, fullness, dizziness, facial flushing, high blood pressure, sweating, had been diagnosed their symptoms was due to take caused excessive ginseng. After this is sick, the appetite is appetite for a long time. Tonic also can not just abuse, disease-free still beverages. I suggest that you’d better to use diet way instead of the medicine way.

Iris: for student, could you give some suggestions about their health?

Dr. Z: now, many students spend a long time on computer. Prolonged use of computers on students' eyes, lumbar, shoulder vertebra are unfavorable, but we can not fail to use the computer, I suggest that students in the process of using the computer, take a break every hour, stand up and do some exercise.
